Overview

Secondary ball Implant: Occasionally, tissues in the socket may break down, exposing the implant. Also, the implant may become infected over a period of time. If conservative treatment measures do not bring relief, a second operation is performed several months later to replace the exposed/infected implant. This surgery is called a secondary ball implant surgery.
